Authentic Taco Rice Donburi

This is a totally authentic taco rice made with ground meat and onions! Topped with lettuce and tomatoes for the most colorful dish ever ♪

Ingredients

  • House Gochi Recipe Rice <Taco Rice Sauce>1/2 box (70g)
  • Beef and pork ground meat300g
  • Onion, minced1½ medium
  • Lettuce2-3 leaves
  • Tomato1
  • ★Salad oil1 tbsp
  • ★Water100ml

    Heat 1 tbsp salad oil in a frying pan, add the minced onion (1½ medium), and sauté over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes until softened.

    Add 300g of ground beef and pork, and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until cooked through.

    Add 100ml water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, then add 1/2 box (70g) of House Gochi Recipe Rice <Taco Rice Sauce> and mix well.

    Return to heat and cook for about 2 minutes while stirring constantly to blend everything together.

    Serve the sauce over rice, and top with 2-3 lettuce leaves and 1 sliced tomato.

Tips

Make a large batch and freeze for easy weeknight dinners when you're busy.
