

This pork shabu salad is a hall-of-fame favorite! Tender pork and lots of fresh veggies make it look fancy but it's super easy to make! ♬
Ingredients
2 servings- Pork (shabu-shabu sliced)about 300g
- Cabbage1/4 head
- Lettuce, carrot, cucumber, etc.to taste
- ★Sake2 tbsp
- ★Salt2 pinches
- ★Water600 ml
- Mayonnaise, sesame dressing, grated ponzu, yakiniku sauce, etc.to taste

Bring 600 ml of water to a boil in a small pot, then add the ★ seasonings (sake and salt) and adjust heat to medium-high.

Add about 300g of pork to the pot in small batches. Once the meat changes color throughout, immediately transfer to a colander.

Let the boiled pork cool without rinsing it in water.

Arrange 1/4 head of cabbage and lettuce, carrot, cucumber, etc. (to taste) on a plate, then layer the cooled pork on top.

Drizzle with mayonnaise, sesame dressing, grated ponzu, yakiniku sauce, or your favorite dressing to finish.
Tips
Be careful with the heat while boiling to avoid a rolling boil. Make sure the pork is cooked through completely. Don't rinse the cooked pork in water. If you prefer softer cabbage, try microwaving the vegetables for a moment.
