Sweet and Savory Stuffed Fried Tofu Pockets with Egg

    Cut 1 fried tofu pocket in half lengthwise and carefully open it inside out. If it's difficult to open, gently press with a wooden spoon or chopsticks to flatten.

    Crack 2 eggs and gently pour them into the opened tofu pocket.

    Use 1 piece of pasta like a needle to sew the opening of the tofu pocket closed, securing it in place.

    Heat a small amount of salad oil in a frying pan and cook the stuffed tofu over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

    Once browned, reduce heat to low and add the pre-mixed ★ seasonings, then simmer while coating everything thoroughly.

    When the egg is cooked through and the flavors have fully absorbed, it's ready to serve.

Tips

Cooking each side for 5 minutes will give you a slightly soft yolk. You can adjust to your preference for a more runny yolk if you like. Choose a slightly larger fried tofu pocket to prevent the filling from spilling out.
