Honey Cookies with Subtle Sweetness

  • Vegetable oil15g
  • Honey30g

    Place a plastic bag on a scale and measure out 50g of all-purpose flour into it.

    Add 15g of vegetable oil and mix by rubbing and kneading until evenly combined.

    Add 30g of honey and continue kneading and mixing until well combined.

    Using a rolling pin over the bag, flatten the dough to a thickness of 4-5mm.

    Cut the dough with a cutter or scraper into desired shapes, then bake in a preheated 170°C oven for 12 minutes until done.

Tips

Mixing the vegetable oil into the flour first before adding the honey will make it easier to combine. Depending on the type of oil used, the dough may become too soft—in that case, add a bit more flour to bring it together properly.
