Ingredients
4 servings- Ghana Milk Chocolateto taste
- Black Chocolate and White Chocolateto taste
- Chocolate Pens (blue, yellow, pink)1 each
- Cakeoptional
- ★Parchment Paperto taste
- ★Glassine Paperto taste
- ★Scissors1
Directions
45 min- 1
Prepare an illustration of the character you want to draw, place parchment paper on top, and fix it in one place with a staple.
- 2
Melt black chocolate or milk chocolate in a double boiler and use a cornet bag (cone) made from glassine or parchment paper to draw black outlines. Cut the tip thinly and make a small hole to draw fine details. After drawing, chill in the refrigerator to set.
- 3
Add color to fine details like eyes, nose, and bells using white chocolate or yellow chocolate pens. If the chocolate temperature is too high, other parts may melt. For chocolate pens, warm them in hot water before use. Chill in the refrigerator briefly.
- 4
Draw the character's body with blue chocolate and chill in the refrigerator again to set.
- 5
Add white chocolate to the remaining areas. For larger areas, you can pour the chocolate using a spoon instead of a cornet bag. Chill in the refrigerator to set.
- 6
Apply chocolate to the entire character to add thickness and dimension. You can also add extra melted chocolate on top.
- 7
Once fully chilled and set, peel off the parchment paper and it's complete. Note that the character will be a mirror image of the original illustration.
- 8
Prepare glassine paper (approximately 25cm × 20cm). Parchment paper can be thick and difficult to roll, so glassine paper is recommended.
- 9
Cut the glassine paper diagonally with scissors.
- 10
Hold the bottom of the glassine paper in your left hand and the top in your right hand, then roll it clockwise around your left hand.
- 11
Once rolled, fold any protruding parts inward to finish the cornet bag.
- 12
Place the character chocolate on a cake or display it alone for decoration.
Tips
Various colors and flavors of chocolate are available commercially, so you can customize freely. Drawing the character's outline clearly will make the final result stand out even more.
