    Fillet the mackerel into 3 pieces, then cut each piece into thirds. Adjust the size of the cuts depending on the size of the fish.

    Mix all the ★ seasonings together to make the marinade.

    Place the marinade and the mackerel pieces into a zip-lock or plastic bag. Lightly massage to coat the fish evenly, then let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to half a day.

    Coat each piece of mackerel with potato starch, then pan-fry in oil over medium-low heat until both sides are golden brown and crispy.

    Once done, blot away any excess oil with paper towels and serve.

Tips
