    Partially peel 1 sweet potato, slice it into rings, and soak in water for 10 minutes. Cut 1 broccoli into bite-sized pieces and microwave until just firm.

    Thinly slice 1 garlic clove and cut 2 bacon slices into bite-sized pieces.

    Heat to taste of olive oil in a frying pan, add the sweet potato (with water still clinging to it), and cook over low to medium heat, slowly browning both sides.

    Add the broccoli, garlic, and bacon, cover with a lid, and steam-fry for about 3 minutes. Remove the lid, sprinkle herb salt to taste, and stir-fry until everything is cooked through.

    Transfer to a plate and sprinkle black pepper to taste if desired. Serve.

Tips

When microwaving the broccoli, cook it slightly firm to maintain a better texture. Adjust the bacon cooking time to your preference—crispy or tender, whichever you like.
