Warm Japanese-Style Salad with Avocado and King Oyster Mushrooms

This hot salad with avocado and king oyster mushrooms sautéed in butter and soy sauce is so delicious! Simple but rich and flavorful - you'll absolutely love it!

  • King oyster mushroomsabout 4 medium
  • Butter10g
  • Olive oil1 tsp
  • ★Light soy sauce2 tsp

    Cut the king oyster mushrooms in half lengthwise, then cut into quarters lengthwise and set aside.

    Add 10g of butter and 1 tsp of olive oil to a skillet and warm over medium heat.

    Add about 4 medium king oyster mushrooms and sauté until cooked through.

    Cut the avocado in half, remove the seed, and cut into about 1cm thick slices.

    Add the avocado to the skillet and drizzle 2 tsp of ★light soy sauce all over.

    Gently mix while cooking until the flavors are evenly distributed and remove from heat.

    Plate and sprinkle with black pepper to taste to finish.

Tips

Adding the avocado by hand in small portions makes it easier to mix. You can add garlic for richer flavor, but it's delicious without it too.
