This savory stir-fry is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with rice! The best part is how quick and easy it is to make - just toss everything in the pan!

  • Green beans (frozen OK)10-15
  • ★Oyster sauce2 tsp
  • ★Sake2 tsp

Directions

15 min
  1. 1

Blanch 10-15 green beans in lightly salted water, then cut into 4cm lengths. If using frozen, cut them without blanching.

  2. 2

Cut 1 medium potato into pieces similar in size and length to the green beans.

  3. 3

Heat 1.5 tbsp vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the potatoes, and stir-fry until translucent.

  4. 4

Once the potatoes soften, add the green beans and stir-fry until everything is well coated with oil.

  5. 5

Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, then add 2 tsp sake along the edge of the pan.

  6. 6

Before the sake evaporates, add 2 tsp oyster sauce and mix well while stir-frying.

  7. 7

Finally, sprinkle 0.5 tsp white sesame seeds, toss gently, and transfer to a serving plate.

Tips

Over-cooking will cause the potatoes to break apart, so keep an eye on the heat and timing. Work quickly to achieve a crispy, tender texture.
