20-Minute Crispy and Chewy Pizza

  • Bread flour (or all-purpose flour)100g
  • Water100cc (85cc if using all-purpose flour)
  • Tomato sauceto taste
  • Your favorite toppingsto taste
  • Pizza cheeseto taste
  • ★Baking powder1.5 tsp
  • ★Sugar1 tsp
  • ★Salt6 pinches (1/10 tsp)

    In a bowl, measure out ★ 1.5 tsp baking powder, ★ 1 tsp sugar, and ★ 6 pinches of salt, and mix together with a spoon.

    Add 100g of bread flour (or all-purpose flour) and mix with a spoon. Pour in 100cc of water (85cc if using all-purpose flour) and mix vigorously about 100 times until the dough becomes sticky and elastic.

    Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet using a spoon and stretch it into a circle about 18cm in diameter.

    Top with tomato sauce to taste, your favorite toppings to taste, and pizza cheese to taste.

    Preheat the oven to 250°C and bake for 10–13 minutes until the crust is lightly golden.

    When transferring the dough to the baking sheet, wet your spoon or hands with water to prevent sticking and make stretching easier.

    For a chewier texture, microwave the baked pizza at 500W for about 1 minute after baking, then let cool slightly.

Tips

Bake the dough thoroughly until the surface is slightly firm. Freshly baked, it will be crispy and fluffy. For a chewy and crispy texture, microwave it briefly after baking and let it cool.
