Fluffy and Aromatic Pan-Fried Pizza

    In a bowl, combine 200g all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil. Gradually add 100ml warm water while mixing. The dough may seem sticky at first, but continue mixing without adding extra flour. Aim for about 5 minutes total.

    Once the flour is fully incorporated and the dough reaches an earlobe-soft consistency, knead by hand for 2-3 minutes. No need to apply excessive force.

    Cut your desired vegetables and heat in the microwave for about 1 minute. Cover the dough with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.

    Place a sheet of parchment paper slightly larger than your frying pan on a cutting board, place the dough on it, and roll it thin with a rolling pin.

    Transfer the dough with parchment paper to the frying pan, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat for about 3 minutes.

    Once the dough is cooked, flip it over. Spread ★pizza sauce, top with ★your choice of toppings and ★melting cheese. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat until the cheese melts.

    The finished pizza will have a thick, hearty crust. If you prefer a thinner crust, use half the amount of dough.

    To bake half the dough in an oven, preheat to 250°C and bake for about 5 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on your oven. You can skip microwaving the vegetables.

    After cooking, wrap the dough in plastic wrap and freeze. Next time, you can mostly thaw it while topping, then bake as is.

    Easy Pizza Sauce: Mix ketchup, basil, watercress, black pepper, and garlic to taste. Spread directly on the dough and mix together.

Tips

Knead for 2-3 minutes after reaching an earlobe-soft consistency. Insufficient kneading will result in a dry, hard dough. Use parchment paper even with non-stick frying pans. Be careful with heat - high flame will result in a hard crust. Cook over low heat.
