Cut 2 chikuwa into bite-sized pieces. Trim the base off 1/2 bunch of shimeji mushrooms and separate into small clusters.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and stir-fry the chikuwa and shimeji mushrooms.

Remove the pan from the heat, add the ★ seasonings, then return to low–medium heat and cook until the sauce coats everything.
