This refreshing marinated salad is super easy to whip up with everyday ingredients! It's the perfect side dish for curry too ♪

  • Ham4 slices
  • ★Salad oil (olive oil or healthy oil work too)2 tbsp
  • ★Vinegar2 tbsp
  • ★Sugar1 tsp or more to taste
  • ★Salt and black peppera pinch

    Slice the 2 cucumbers and 1/2 onion thinly. Cut the 4 ham slices into 8 pieces each.

    Place the cucumber and onion in a bowl, sprinkle with a pinch of salt (not included in the measurements), and massage lightly.

    Mix the ★ seasonings together well.

    Once the vegetables become tender and release moisture, rinse them in water and squeeze out thoroughly.

    Combine the squeezed vegetables, ham, and the mixed ★ seasonings, and toss everything together well.

    Transfer to a serving dish and finish with a light sprinkle of black pepper.

Tips

Adjust the amount of cucumber to your preference. Using more onion will give a richer flavor. Taste and adjust the sugar amount accordingly.
