This is Yutantan's healthy recipe — thick-cut daikon glazed in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce! It pairs perfectly with steamed rice or a cold drink. So simple, so satisfying!

    Wash the daikon (10cm) thoroughly and slice into rounds about 1.5cm thick, leaving the skin on.

    Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over high heat and sear both sides of the daikon slices until nicely browned.

    Add the ★ seasonings and cook over medium heat, tossing to coat until the sauce is glossy and caramelized.
