

This is mzhroom's apple bread! Soft and fluffy dough with sweet and tangy apples - it's absolutely delicious!
Ingredients

Directions

Peel 200g of apple and cut it into thin 1cm wedges.

Place the apple in a pot, add 30g sugar, and stir over low heat with a wooden spoon to cook down.

Once the apple becomes soft and turns golden, strain through a sieve.

Sprinkle a pinch of brandy and let cool.

Add 200g bread flour, 4g dry yeast, 86g lukewarm water, 30g egg, 3g salt, 30g sugar, and 30g butter to a home bakery machine and proceed to the fermentation step.

Round the dough, wrap with plastic wrap, cover with a damp cloth, and let rest for 15 minutes.

Gently release gas from the dough and stretch it into a rectangle about 25cm tall and 35cm wide.

Arrange the cooled apple along the near edge, roll tightly from the bottom, and seal the edge firmly.

Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces, line an 18cm diameter cake pan with parchment paper, and arrange the pieces inside.

Use the oven's fermentation function to proof at 40-45°C for approximately 30 minutes for the second rise.

Brush with egg and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25-30 minutes, covering with aluminum foil if it starts to brown.

Mix powdered sugar and water in a 1:10 ratio and whisk with a whisk until the icing is smooth and thick.

Once the bread has cooled, drizzle the icing over the top to finish.
Tips
When placing in the pan, insert the seam side down and gently press with your hand to shape. For best results with the icing, use 100% granulated sugar powdered sugar without cornstarch.
